Adventure Bound Four Winds

Where does one even start ? we have stayed now 3 weekends this year and will not be back again. the place is closed at 6 pm when the signs are all listed open until 9 physically there and online. the water is absolutely terrible it is literally mud water we had to use bottle water to cook with . there are old broken buildings & are major safety issues as one is ready to fall over. the pond has no fish in it literally not a fish to catch. over 200 a weekend for 2 nights to park your new camper and truck in a dust bowl as all the roads are all hammered . we overheard from a local seasonal they sadly pay over 4000 dollars for this type of treatment. you can tell this is one place corporate's pencil pushers only care about money coming in & not the paying customers or their experience once checked in. our family has been coming year after year and watched this place literally fall apart. this is a major help for other local competition. maybe this will raise some attention to the owners that they need to step it up , before other places gain the business or likely be swept under the rug

A really fun campground, especially for kids. There was a mass Gaga Ball game every night! The restrooms for those who need them as we did were clean and the water was hot. The staff was worth the 5 stars themselves. Always friendly and genuinely glad you were staying there. There is one small annoyance, the golf carts created a mass amount of dust. So park as far back as you can or you're vehicle and camper/tent will be covered. Especially after the main staff leaves, the speed limit isn't followed. Which wasn't a bother, they weren't flying and still slowed down for walkers and bikes, just creating a lot of dust. Other than that was an awesome stay! Would go back 😀

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We came the week before school let out so only my kids where there and they put up the fun zone for them to do the waterslides. The pool is very clean and there is always someone around on a golf cart or to be flagged down for questions. The RV was basically brand new we stayed in it was so nice and so clean! I think we might have been one of the first to stay in it.
Other reviews seem to be from prior management so I would definitely come back and give the new owners a chance they are really working to make this a very nice campground esp for families.

Our vacation almost got ruined from the rain after our tent broke. The wonderful women at the front desk was able to help us and make it so we were still able to finish out the rainy weekend.

Great place to stay. Sites sizes are large. Has pool, hot tub in the gated pool area, water slides, offers golf cart rental. Has tent sites along the creek (awesome for sleeping if you like calming noises when falling asleep). Laundry facility on property. Store has items that we tend to pack for the trip. Staff are very nice and helpful. Wood sold at store, you cant bring your own. There are falls along the way that you can see on the trip there. Dollar General near by. Has AWESOME wifi
