Rivers crossing campgrounds has a beautiful location. Our family loved to come here to fish and enjoy the wildlife. Previous owners were very welcoming and made sure everyone was having a good time. I am not sure if the new owners are trying to be strict to corral unruly families but my family is not one of them & do not need to be treated rudely. Actually, it was not so much the owners but the seasonal campers that work at the campgrounds. We felt like we had to walk on egg shells and were not wanted by the seasonal campers. It’s sad… the previous owners made this camp something special. Maybe more thought needs to be given into what seasonal campers are the face of your campground.

This is by far the most homey and well taken care of property I’ve seen traveling through New York. I would choose to stay here again before going to any corporate place. I’m bummed I’m missing their themed Halloween weekend and they had super fun decorations and plans! Lots of nice to walk my dog and for her to roll in. Super clean and very peaceful by the water/boats. All the workers and owners were the absolute nicest people and you can tell they actually care about the property and guests. Thank you for a great time!

We used a primitive spot. We were treated like family. The new owners are making improvements as they go along. I don't know what it was like before. The new owners are very accommodating.

This was a sweet little campground right on the water. Some of the sites seemed a little bit like an afterthought. Upon pulling into the campground, it was somewhat alarming, because we even wondered if we were on the right road, it looked weirdly desolate with a whole bunch of downed trees. It turns out our GPS was accurate after all, and once you got through this long, unwelcoming road entrance, you saw the campground. (my fear was that we would get down this road to find we were on the wrong road and then wouldn’t be able to turn around!). The owner who was at the desk when we checked in couldn’t have been nicer. He loaned us an extra 30 amp cord for our camper because it was fairly distant from the electrical plug-in. We took a nice little walk across the bridge and throughout the campground and it was really pretty with some really nice waterfront sites.

This place is the best campground we have been to by far, and trust me when I tell you we have been camping at different locations for 30 years. The owners are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are engaging and are always coming around to make sure you stay is enjoyable. The amount of time and effort they put it to the weekend events are incredible. They make you feel like you’re part of their family. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place all who enjoy a fun relaxing camping trip.
