Called to take a tour as my family and I heard great things. Was told by a female owner we have nothing available for seasonal. I kindly said I was calling for a tour as we are interested even if on a wait list. She said we are closed, I once again asked to schedule a tour and was told No we dont do that.
Well I said fine I will take my business else where and write a review She slammed the phone down. Not great for business. And after reading other reviews here these new owners are rude. And only play nice online for thanking people for nice reviews

Colden Lake Resort is situated in a beautiful and often overlooked part of the country. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Water pressure was decent, and they have wi-fi. The only thing I wish were better is the narrowness of the sites. It’s tight.

We stayed at this campground for two nights while passing through the area so we could see some old college friends. We were greeted by a lovely young woman who explained where our site was and went over some of the rules. I have to say that the way the RV gps took me was surprising, as the hills were extremely steep. Our 31 ft gas class A towing a Jeep barely made it up the one 11% grade! I had my foot to the floor, the transmission in tow mode, and watched the speedometer going down slowly as I prayed we made it to the level spot ahead. Of course, that isn't the campgrounds fault, but I wanted to give others a heads up to find an alternative route. We took a different way out (as explained by our greeter). The facility was clean, scenic, and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! Stephanie and Mike were so friendly and welcoming — they took the time to show us how everything worked in the park model and made sure we were comfortable. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and had a great vibe. Could not have asked for better. Highly recommend!
