Riverforest Park Campground

It was nice. We went to visit Mike's son and his wife at the campgrounds. It was roomy and everybody is friendly

Recently under new ownership, never been here prior. Can see the potential here. Give them some time to get up and running and hopefully things get better. Overall it is pretty decent.
Pool area looks nice, big building looks freshly painted.
No maps available. Bathrooms could be updated to ensure more privacy especially in showers, shower curtains would be a plus. We waited for next day and showered at a truckstop.
This looks to be primarily a seasonal campground. Folks appear to have been there for quite some time.
Staff we did come across were nice and friendly. Campstore and restaurant not open during our stay.

My family and I had a great time! The park was clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely come again!

Car camped here for 2 nights in May of 2026. Quiet, bathrooms were clean, shower water was hot. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
