What Guests Are Saying
Sakakawea RV offers a clean campground with reasonable rates and a quiet atmosphere, mainly disturbed by birds. While the online check-in was convenient, guests noted the absence of owners on-site. However, nearby trains and road noise, along with limited TV and Wi-Fi reception, were mentioned as drawbacks.

Campground was clean. Rates were reasonable. Never saw the owners as we did online check in. Railroad nearby and we did hear trains at 10 pm. Close to road so you do hear traffic. Very little tv reception and Wi-Fi was in and out.

Thanks y'all!
Basic rv park, great for out of state workers
No showers, internet works better than I was told although spotty, not too bad
Police patrol the place frequently, that could be a bad or good thing ...
Attentive and friendly staff, although rarely at office this year
Good selection of rv stuff

Typically you expect a little higher prices from small town retailers. However I was pleasantly surprised to find Sakakawea RV's prices in their store to match up with anything you'd find in a big city dealership. Very helpful staff as well. I'd give it 5 stars but it needs better signage to let people know it's a retail store and not just an RV park office.

Very helpful staff, well stocked store too! I was surprised to see all the parts they had for sale in the store building. Great selection of all sorts of camping and RV stuff available next day also. Prices are what you expect to find in the city, but so much easier to get to when you're camping at the lake.
