If you are hoping for concrete pads with the interstate nearby, keep looking. If camping in the outdoors is your goal, look no further.
We stayed a single night in late April and it was glorious. Full hookups. Water was pretty good with decent pressure, electric was solid and sewer dumps with functional covers.
The wind was pretty intense so we didn't use the fire ring, but it and picnic tables at each site were available.
Trees between each site make the experience very personal. Like a state park, but with full hookups and great shower houses
Definitely will stay here again.

Called on a Tuesday while traveling across ND with horses and looking for a place to stay . Owner was very pleasant on the phone and helped guide us into reserving the proper site online .

After I would say 5 miles of gravel roads we found the place . VERY well taken care of . Looks beautiful and all the amenities a camper needs .

That being said , we tried going for a ride the following day to just to be dumped into a grassland grazing area , yes you can ride anywhere but unless you want to feel like your bringing a wagon train to the west it was a total bust .

We returned to camp ( WE were the only ones there ) . After an hour of relaxing we decided to wash horses off . 20 min into that the owner approached us and politely told us that the animals were not allowed in the campsite area to help keep the area pristine for the next arriving guests . She also informed us of a trail system and a map that was drawn in the laundry room to help guide us to those trails . On further investigation, the hand drawn map was not very helpful .

I guess in short , unless you know the ins and outs of the area don’t expect to find great riding here . Don’t bring your horse by your camper . And don’t expect a clean vehicle once you do make it back to a paved road .

The campground is impeccable and there are several bathrooms with showers. The laundromat was greatly appreciated.
My complaint is their payment policy. I called Friday to see if there was availability for Saturday until Wednesday as the website to make reservations showed half the spots reserved and the other half unavailable. It sounded like there was only one spot available, so I reserved and paid for it. Two hours into my seven hour trip on Saturday morning my truck broke down. I contacted the owner to let her know that likely I would not make it that day and Sunday may be questionable. I was not able to get my truck back until Sunday evening, at which time I resumed my trip to arrive Sunday night just after midnight to find the campground with probably 20% occupancy.
I was charged for Saturday, but have to say it have never known a campground that was so inconsiderate regarding the circumstances. Especially since I was led to believe there was only one spot available. In regards to the trails, I would have never stopped here to start with if I had known that I'd basically just be riding throughcow pastures on a gravel trail. It was also inconvenient that I was not able to tack up my horse at my trailer but rather had to carry all my tack to the horse pen, which was also the case for the water, as there are no spickets/hoses by the pens. Cleaning the pen was quite difficult after each night of rain left them quite muddy.
Basically, this is a really pretty campground if you just come here to hang out with your camper.

What a beautiful amazing place. All sites have privacy from the next which is unique to campgrounds. They also have horse pens but unfortunately for me, there weren’t any staying there. I love horses! Firewood, T-shirts and hats are on the honor system - just leave the money in a slot. Nice laundry room and individual shower/bathrooms. Great place to stay.

The campground was pretty and clean. It was very quiet as we were the only campers during the week. We would go back there again.
