A nice efficiency campground. Sites are crushed red rock ground and tightly spaced. Some are right up against cabin rentals. We didn't know there'd be heavy machinery construction going on right beside us and all around us at the campground. Made for a dusty experience. Well located to access Medora and Roosevelt Nat'l Park & Presidential Library.

My stay at Boots Campground was exactly what I needed after a long day of exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The campground offers full hookups, easy online reservations, and a peaceful setting that's perfect for RV travelers looking to recharge.
If available, RV Site #1 is the one to book! I loved how it sat apart from the other sites, providing extra privacy and beautiful views that made the stay feel even more special.
The location is ideal—just minutes from Medora, making it easy to enjoy dinner, shopping, and the town's unique western charm before returning to a quiet evening at camp.
Comfortable, convenient, and relaxing, Boots Campground is an excellent basecamp for anyone visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Bella and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

This is right in Medura. So if you’re doing stuff in this town it’s great. Clean and organized. Small campground. Pricey for what it is. A place to park overnight. We drove 10hrs from Deluth MN and threw bad rain storms. We simply booked it on the road midday. And got here at 6pm. Dropped off the camper. Then headed into Medura for a quick look. Then dipped into the South Unit for sunset.

Interesting campground with no on sight personnel. Sites 2-6 can be a little tight but others are spacious. Had an issue with water, called and left message, within 5 minutes had a return call on how to fix. Sites 2-4 can be pull thru if space is left available. MAKE SURE YOU STOP AT MAP POSTED AT ENTRANCE TO LOCATE YOUR SITE. Will definitely help getting to site correctly.
