For people visiting the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Cottonwood Campground is a great place to stay. Located five miles (5 mi) from the entrance to the South Unit of the park, the campground is open year-round. We really enjoyed our stop at Theodore Roosevelt National Park on our way to Glacier! Unfortunately for us there was a miscommunication with our reservation and it was taken, but the rangers were very helpful and allowed us to stay on the same site with the other party in our group! Overall it was a great stay!
