The campground overall was ok. However, no toilet paper for three days in the bathroom closest to campsite 54, neither the men's nor the women's. The campground was full every night, yet the facilities could not be properly serviced. On my way out, I talked to the staff at the campground host area, and they took offense to my complaint. The bathrooms had been cleaned at 6:30 am on the morning we departed, yet they were not stocked with toilet paper. Even the handicap stalls were not properly attended to.

Nice campground, could use some tree trimming and widen the driveways for pull thru sites. At site 22 we were not able to pull thru with a 32' 5th wheel, ended up backing out into site 21 to get out. There are some war wounds on one of the trees on the exit that gave us a warning,we tried to pull through but would have added our own marks on that tree.

It was great to stay right in the park. Nice bathrooms, friendly host and park rangers and it offered quick access to scenic drive and Medora. Saw lots of birds and some bison in the campground!

This is a great campground. We stayed in 49 South and it was pretty amazing. From this campsite there is a short path to the Little Missouri River where we saw bison roaming around each morning and night and wild horses. We even had a bison wonder through our campsite one even after dinner...to which we stayed in our camper until it was safe distance away! The campground is split into the North and South loops with the South loop handling anything under 25 feet. Our trailer is 24 feet and it was a tight fit to get into this spot. Thankfully the campsite across from us was vacant when we pulled in or we would have never have fit. The North loop has easier sites, but the camper doors open to the street because it's one way, counter-clockwise. Bathrooms are clean and easy to get to. No showers or laundry at the park though.

During our two-night stay the word "peaceful" was spoken many times. It's a quiet campground with SUPER-clean restroom, no generators in the vicinity, and plenty of wildlife for entertainment. Sites have some privacy between them. Bison sauntered into the campground. We eagerly birded the entire 36-mile driving loop and took a walk with a ranger. Site 71 was just right for us, not too near others, right distance from restroom, and adjacent to amphitheatre for the campground hosts' 7p presentation.

Very nice campground. I had a spot (53) Right along the river and it was a beautiful view to sit at and just relax after a long day on the road. Rangers were friendly and helpful.
