We loved our campsite (55) - it’s walk-in but very close to parking. You are right on the creek & can see so much wildlife! It was so perfect and serene. (It can be very exposed if it’s windy though!) Great park!

Nice sites. Spaced nicely. Good location for accessing trails and overlooks. Not far from town.

We got there after sunset. The site markers were bright and easy to see. The bathrooms were better than a hotel. And best of all, it is located in TRNP which we love and will visit 100 more times.

Such a beautiful area! We saw bison, wild horses, coyote, and so many prairie dogs. The campground is well maintained and quiet. Our tent site was 065. Small spot which fit 2 small tents. No shade. Spots are very close together but was not an issue for us. Neighboring sites were quiet and respectful. Bathrooms were kind of gross but not to the point of unusable. I hope to visit again when it’s a bit cooler and spend more than one night.

Nice and quiet camping spot! It was easy to find, clean, close to Madora. It was perfect to go there first, get settled and have dinner (nice clean picnic table and grill area), then head into town for the Medora Musical (highly recommend). The next morning it was easy to head out from the campaigns and drive the scenic loop within the south part of the park, then into town for lunch and souvenirs.

Got in late, but found two trees to set up my hammock in. Once I woke up I was greeted by bison herd about 25 yards away. One adult male bison walked to stand guard over the children if the herd not ten feet away, which to be quite honest was terrifying, but a once in a lifetime opportunity, he was bigger than my car! Overall the campsite had good bathroom facilities near my campsite and good shade, I was in lot 64.

What a great park! Woke up to a bison walking through the camping spots. The bathroom was close and clean!
