I would have given two stars, but our first stay years ago was a much better experience. This time around, not so much.

The TVs only have about 8–10 basic channels, plus Netflix (with your own login) and YouTube. However, the bedroom TV only has access to very old, limited channels. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and slow, causing most of our devices to lag throughout the weekend.

The beds are advertised as queen-sized, but only the loft bed is a queen. The bedroom is actually a full size and was uncomfortable, with very flat pillows. We were provided only one thin comforter and sheets, despite having four people in our group.

Towels and washcloths were very limited. If you need more, you have to drive to the front office but the office closes at 5 PM, which makes it inconvenient when it’s time to shower later in the evening.

The kitchen is stocked with the bare minimum, so if you’re staying more than one night, you’ll be constantly washing dishes. There’s no skillet or spatulas provided, so plan to bring your own. Additionally, the water never gets truly hot—only lukewarm at best for both the shower and the kitchen sink.

The TVs are also smaller than advertised. The main TV is claimed to be 50”, but is closer to 40”, and the bedroom TV is about half that size.

Overall, this cabin is suitable for a maximum of two people. Any more than that, and you’ll likely be uncomfortable. I didn’t upload photos because the ones advertised are accurate.

Had a great time. We did a 2 night stay in a cabin located close to the pool. Everyone was friendly. The place was clean and inviting. My family plans on coming back next year during summer.

Love staying here. Been staying her multiple times a year for three year. Not every stay has been without its hiccups, but Camp ceder always takes care of the issues. To me that means alot. The staff is always polite and helpful. The shuttle drivers are always the best part for me. The best tips for the park and always good stories.

Great place but guest experience needs improvement to tie it together. They held a Halloween event & vendor show open to the public that took up the amenity spaces and filled up the check in parking lot, and the event wasn’t listed on their website anywhere when booking. Any campground I’ve visited prior had events clearly listed & they were always exclusive to paying guests. This was our first visit here, but the girl working check in just slid me some keys and a map and told me how to find my place on the map. I would have really liked to be given an overview of the amenities, the hours of them, and other “first timer” details. The map had a QR code to scan for menus and said they offer food delivery, but the QR code just takes you to reservations for their dine-in restaurant with no menus or online ordering service. I went to the check in office to ask how to order and to get firewood, but found that they close at 7 pm and there was no number or anything to call for assistance. We just went back to our cabin and ordered dominos, but I felt pretty disappointed in the whole experience as a first timer. The cabin was beautiful and the facilities were great too, just wish it was easier for the guests to relax and enjoy them.

This is an very nice resort. The spots are all well manicured, level and spacious. They do play music that you can hear if you park close to the pools. A great feature is a pool side restaurant that is very nice. They have shuttle service to Kings Island and gold cart rentals. We plan to come back next year. As we enjoyed both our stays this year. Highly recommend.
