Hilltop Resorts and Campground

We hosted my dad's 50th birthday party here and it went amazing! The staff members were great we spoke to Karen at the resort who helped facilitate all the logistics for the event. She was extremely responsive, very helpful, and really kind to work with. The event hall was also flexible with bringing our own food and had lights, tables and chairs along with other amenities. They accommodated the space for our event making everything seamless.

Finally, it was my family's first time staying in a cabin after the event and it was a wonderful experience for them. We made a lot of memories that night and had an unforgettable experience.

The cabins are super cozy, with controlled heating/cooling. There was a small kitchen, two bedrooms, and a living room space with a futon that could be converted to a bed.

Highly recommend this resort for any events or a simple weekend getaway!

We loved Hilltop!! Peaceful and quiet. Hilly and scenic. Very clean newer campground and bathrooms. The service was amazing! Their 50 amp kept blowing our fuses and they were there to fix it within minutes of us calling them. Karen, the owner, is so sweet, as is the lady who was cleaning the cabins (I forgot her name). We were there this week for five days and they had it all decorated for Fall and Halloween. They are planning on putting a pool in sometime in the very near future. The campground is also near to all the tourist attractions. We would definitely recommend Hilltop to our family and friends!

This was our second stay at hilltop in the wagon and it was even more incredible than our first day. The campground staff always make it a priority to ensure everyone has the best time. They even cooked breakfast for the whole campground Saturday morning, homemade pancakes and sausage and bacon. it was amazing. They had a band Saturday night, fun! trick or treating and painting pumpkins for the kids and even a campsite decorating contest. I think our family who will be making this an annual tradition.

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Resorts in the Jay cabin. It was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 1 child) and was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Communication was great with confirmation email and welcome email, and the check in and check out process was really easy online through the emails. We enjoyed having firewood delivered and using the firepit on the deck in the evenings. Our 7yo really liked the jumping pillow. It was a great location - close to Logan where we could get groceries and go to restaurants, and easy drive times to the hiking locations and other adventures. There were lots of fun things for kids, especially since we were there in October and there were special Halloween activities.

Our stay at Hilltop Resort and Campground exceeded our expectations. It was ideally situated to explore Hocking Hills, ride the HockHocking-Adena bikeway and enjoy great restaurants in the Logan, Nelsonville and Athena communities. We also kayaked in Lake Logan using the rentals available. The hill down to the kayaks is steep and a good cardio workout, but so worth it.

Our cabin was immaculately clean. Both beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook simple breakfasts and lunches. The patio was wonderful and we enjoyed fires in the holder on the deck each night. Sounds of birds in the morning were lovely.

George and Karen are responsive, friendly and helpful. The campground has firewood, ice, and food items in the office.

We highly recommend and will be returning.
