General

  • Campground Rules and Policies

  • Severability: If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.__

Site capacity

  • Rates cover up to 1 camper and 2 vehicles or 2 tents, accommodating 2 adults and 2 children; extra guests incur a fee.

Safety & rules

  • Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM; children must be supervised at all times.
  • Swimming is at your own risk; hours are 8 AM to 9 PM; children under 14 must be supervised.
  • Clean up after yourself and use provided trash receptacles.
  • Be respectful of neighbors; certain behaviors can lead to removal from the campground.
  • Smoking is prohibited in public areas and near occupied sites; violations may lead to removal.
  • Fireworks, underage drinking, and alcohol-related games are prohibited.
  • Only guests 21 and older may consume alcohol; ID may be required.
  • Alcohol can only be consumed at your campsite; public areas are off-limits.
  • Alcohol consumption must be responsible; unruly behavior can lead to removal.
  • Glass containers are not allowed for safety reasons.
  • Alcohol sales and distribution require prior permission from management.
  • Respect other campers' privacy and comfort.
  • Comply with all laws regarding alcohol; violations may lead to removal.
  • Staff will enforce the alcohol policy; non-compliance may lead to expulsion.
  • Cooperate for a respectful environment.

Fires & fuel

  • Fires are allowed only in fire pits; home appliances and air conditioners are prohibited.

Vehicles & parking

  • Speed limit within the campground is 5 mph.
  • Golf carts are prohibited; e-bikes and scooters are allowed with safety requirements.

Pets

  • Pets are allowed on a leash, but not in certain areas; clean up after your pet.
  • Jurisdiction and Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Ohio. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Ohio.

Fees & deposits

  • Visitors must register before visiting; there's a $5 fee per guest.

Guests

  • 13.) Alcohol Policy: At Sunset Springs Camp, we strive to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment where all guests can enjoy their time in nature. As such, we have established the following alcohol policy to ensure that all visitors are respectful of others and adhere to guidelines that promote safety and enjoyment for everyone.
  • In consideration of being allowed to stay at Sunset Springs Camp, located in the state of Ohio, the undersigned ("Guest") agrees to the following terms:
  • Assumption of Risk: The Guest acknowledges that camping and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to risks of personal injury, property damage, wildlife encounters, weather conditions, and natural hazards. By participating in camping and recreational activities, the Guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their stay at Sunset Springs Camp.
  • Indemnification: The Guest agrees to indemnify and defend Sunset Springs Camp and its affiliates against any claims or liabilities resulting from the Guest’s negligence, misconduct, or failure to follow campground rules and guidelines.
  • Medical Emergencies: The Guest authorizes Sunset Springs Camp to seek medical treatment on their behalf in the event of an emergency and agrees to bear all associated costs.
  • Photography and Media Consent: By entering the premises, the Guest grants permission for Sunset Springs Camp to use photographs or videos taken on the property for promotional or marketing purposes without compensation.

Deposit

  • Release of Liability: The Guest agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sunset Springs Camp, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Guest’s stay, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.
  • Acknowledgment of Rules: The Guest agrees to abide by all campground rules and guidelines provided at the time of check-in and posted throughout the property. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without a refund.
