Rivers Edge Campground and Resort

We have camped here for a few years. 3 times this year. Its our favorite campground so far. Pool, swimming pond, 2 fishing ponds, splash pad new next year, bingo, euchre, cornhole, arcade, bands, djs, all kinds of different stuff for the kids all year long.

Our fun Halloween camping weekend has came to an end. They really do go all out. The campground had a lot decorating contest, kids and adult Halloween costumes, euchre, decorate a tie die bag, bingo, trick or treating, a photo booth, a Dj and a haunted trail for both littles and adults. We had a big group that went. I actually went....there may have been alittle tinkle lol some tears too! They really put alot into 2 weekends for Halloween for everyone. River's Edge Campground and Resort thank you for everything!

Wonderful campground!!! So many activities for kiddos: giant bouncy thing, arcade, pool, swimming pond, playground, fishing pond & so much more! Everything is SO CLEAN! Bathrooms a plenty and always spotless. You can tell they take pride in taking care of the campground & always having the campers experience a priority! Can’t wait to come back & see the new splash pad!

My 12-year-old son had been asking me to go camping so we could spend some quality time together. After looking around for campgrounds about an hour from home, I found this hidden gem.

From the moment we arrived, the ladies in the office were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Every employee we encountered had a great attitude and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which really made a positive first impression.

We stayed in the tent camping area, and everything was clean, well-maintained, and organized. If you have Verizon, be prepared for limited service, but AT&T worked great for us.

One recommendation: rent a golf cart! It absolutely made my son's weekend. He had a blast riding around the campground.

Even with the smoke from the Canadian wildfires and a pretty nasty storm that rolled through, we still had an amazing time. One of my favorite things was how friendly everyone was. Campers would cruise around in their golf carts, wave as they passed, and it really felt like a welcoming little community.

The campground also organized activities for kids, which my son thoroughly enjoyed, and the arcade was another big hit.

Thank you to everyone at Rivers Edge Campground & Resort for giving us such a memorable father-and-son weekend. We'll definitely be back!

The owners/employees are friendly. The bathrooms and showers are fine, but I suspect they can get crowded on weekends. This is a big party place late into the night. The standard campsites are packed together on a grassy field with absolutely no shade. These are $45 a night, plus $4.50 reservation fee, plus $20 to guarantee the specific reserved site. I would have gotten one of their ``primitive" camping sites for $25, but I could not find them on their campground map. They were in fact nicer than the regular ones, just without electricity or spigots.

Rivers Edge is one of our favorite campgrounds, yet! There are lots of things to do and weekly crafts and or events. There is also golf cart rentals. Fun times for the whole family! Giant pillow, amazing play ground and basketball court! A beautiful scenic river! Nice camp store! Friendly and amazingly helpful staff like Jeff and Stacy and also Cale! Everyone had a great time and we look forward to going again next year when we gather as a family, annually. Also the seasonal campers were wonderful and friendly!
