Horrible place. Looks like a vagrant camp ground. Units are close together. No window treatments. The box across the way can see right in. Place next to us had some kind of brown tarps strung up. The Woodburn stove is approx 8inx12in with wood that does not fit. Had to run to hardware store to buy a saw. The deck and suspension bridge were a sheet of ice. No heat in the bathroom. We booked 2 nights..left at 5am after the 1st night. The loft ladder is straight up and down. The world's smallest microwave. A hot plate that you cannot reach with no place that is convenient to plug in and a gas fire pit that offers very little heat and an old beat up grill big enough for nothing!

We stayed in the Forest Haven - Otium

Loved the location for a two night get away. We used the outside fire and was able to relax around it. The Otium has a nice wall window so even inside you get a view of the forest.

I will say there’s some downsides. These rooms definitely don’t get cleaned. I found KY sex gel behind the mattress between the wall and mattress in the gap & pillows had stains. There is also a sock under the mattress. We left both in the room in the same spot we found them bc I’m not touching other peoples dirty things.
I would liked it little better if there was a privacy curtain for the toilet inside of being in the open so anyone can see you that’s in the cabin also the freezer was so full of ice but the fridge wasn’t even cold. I put my coolers outside bc the temps outside was so low that my cooler and food stayed cold that way.

Would go back in the summer and stay again as long as the rooms get cleaned.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Treebox Forest Haven - Otium. First off, I'd like to say the setting was very cute. We loved how close we felt to nature. It was relaxing to see the sheep grazing and the squirrels playing. Those are the only positive things we have to say about the place. Here are the issues we noticed while staying there. The multi-zone system had so much dust in it, we don't think it had been cleaned all season. The bathroom vent was filthy as well. The freezer had so much frost that you couldn't use it if you wanted too. Also, a bag of ice was left from the previous guests. The showerhead had so much calcium build up the water barely could make it through. The shower caddy had so much soap scum it looked like it had never cleaned. The bathroom faucet was really low to the basin that I would hit my toothbrush on the faucet. We eventually brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink. There were cob webs throughout the room. But to top it off, the sliding door would not lock!!! And the security lock was installed incorrectly!!! We had to put blocks of wood in the door frame to lock the door! The owners kept mentioning on their website and in their emails to not allow pets on the bed. I think that should be the least of their worries. I will come and visit the town again but I'd never stay at this establishment. I don't know how they are still in business.

A group of four of us went to the spa on the property for my birthday and we could not have been more blessed to have this experience. The interior is gorgeous, and we felt like queens soaking in the tubs with a stunning view to look at! Every little touch had so much thought involved and we loved having the space to ourselves. I plan on coming back again and again!

My husband and I booked the Arrow Cabin for our 10-year anniversary. We only stayed one night, but that was enough. While we enjoyed the quiet and natural surroundings, the cabin itself was not what we expected.
Two cats appeared as soon as we arrived and stayed on the deck the entire time. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, and the cleaning was not to our standards. The deck needs some TLC.
The grounds were also disappointing. Driving up to the cabins felt more like driving through a construction site, with debris, garbage, and leftover materials scattered around the area. The cabins are also much closer and were less private than expected.
Overall, I would have been very upset had we booked multiple nights and spent more money to stay here. One night was more than enough.
