Wonderful park, one of the better COE parks I have stayed at, but the camp host ruined it for me.
IMHO, the camp host should be fired and banned from all RV parks for life after being charged with animal cruelty.
This camp host spent his days racing his golf cart, at top speed, chasing the geese from the grassy areas, after which he would go to the shore line and throw rocks at the wildlife to chase them away!
When confronted about his actions he stated he had no authority to do such an atrocious act; he was abusing/harassing the wildlife because he wanted to... and he continued to do so for the entire 14 days we were there.

Very nice park. Large level concrete pad with full hookups. Beautiful view of the water. Only bad experience was the nasty camp host that kept chasing the geese with his golf cart all over the fields and then throwing rocks at them in the water with their babies with them

We've been here before and loved it! Especially watching the geese and their babies. This time, the park "attendant" kept driving his golf cart all thru the sites and center field grass area, chasing them away. At one point, he stopped at someone's site, parked, and started throwing rocks at the geese in the water!! If he had hit one, it could have been severely hurt or killed!
This guy's time could have been better spent cleaning up all the broken glass and trash on the beach!
We're very disappointed in this stay at Burns Run East!
