We arrived a little early and found the campers from the previous day in our spot, which was fine. The issue was they didn't come back to their campsite from some trip till almost 7, and the campsite attendant didn't show up to check on our situation till almost 9. No one was reachable on any phone numbers we tried, including the warden. The recreation.gov number told us we had to call and deal with it locally. Once they packed up and left we had a good time though. Just be aware it will be windy.

Nice park. Plenty of space between sites. The park too was roomy, concrete and I had full hookups at my site. The check-in is way too late, 4:00, unless your reserved site is empty.

Campsite and location were great. My only complaint was there is a lot of glass shards on the beaches. Don’t go barefoot!
