The camping was fantastic. The boat ramp is not good and doesn’t have a walking dock to tie your boat to so you can go park

Campsites vary greatly, so you have lots of options to choose from. Getting in the water can be tricky depending on where you are camping. The restrooms are hot, and they never have soap. They are also full of bugs like spiders, cicadas, and other small insects; this is normal, just be ready for it. In the campgrounds, the showers are not the best; they definitely need to be upgraded. But they always have plenty of toilet paper. For those camping out in a tent, take a water hose and a long extension cord. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy family fun, and the views are pretty great.

During our stay low pressure for 3 days and then NO water. They got it fixed but—- it took a week. After the water was fixed a BIG biker wedding that lasted ALL night. They rode thru the park racking off their pipes all night. 4 am a group of them left LOUDLY!!! Some of them camping and again riding their bikes thru the park racking off their pies as they came by each others camp sight where there was another bike parked. The Park Rangers told us there was nothing they could do.

The site is absolutely amazing, however the lack of shade made it pretty intolerable though. I know it's an older campground and much better than East as far as shade goes. Just a heads up.

The campsite was perfect our first night. It was amazing, close to the water with lots of shade and close but not too close to the restrooms ( we reserved 2 night tent camping ). Until I had to use the restroom. We were greeted with a notice on the bathroom door that they were not in use and advised to go to two other places on the grounds. I was disappointed because that was not mentioned at check in. What was mentioned is that there is low water pressure and something about the City being at fault. The next morning we awoke to a lawnmower next to the empty site next door. My husband and I made a quick decision to get out as fast as we could to prevent dust, rocks and all kinds of other debris coming our way. To say the least I was happy to be on my way home.

This was a beautiful park! Our spot was right on the water with an amazing view. Just stayed for the night and headed out the next morning. Would definitely stay again.
