The sites were large and private. Large concrete patios with extra large picnic tables and a cooking bar. The lake was close but no view. We will definitely be back in the fall for a little cooler temperature.

People with tense and people camping around in the D section stayed noisy past 10 o’clock playing karaoke machines and loud music tried calling did not really do any good beware of this section especially on holidays when people come out and they don’t care and management of the system don’t make sure the area is patrol by the park Rangers

We have been to West Burns Run several times this year. We stay in the "C" area every time. Why is it that the exact same person is in either C1 or C2 every single time? The beginning of summer the same people were in C2. Then some how I beat them to the reservations for 2 weeks around 4th of July and got C2 so they moved to C1. They were there the WHOLE rest of the summer! HOW can the same people keep getting that spot? C1 and C2 are the best spots in all of West Burns run camping areas. Do they have connections with people at Recreation.gov? DO they have connections with the people in the little hut? I just want to know how and why this is allowed. Other people would love to get those spots but can't because they are there. And to top it off they aren't even there MOST of the time occasionally they are they on the weekends. Just doesn't seem fair. I would really like a response back.

After getting the reservations straightened out, the camping experience was the best. West Burns Run is the best park on Lake Texoma. Sandy beaches, clean park and polite staff. Always going to be a favorite.

Decent, need to control traffic in and out after quiet time.

Fantastic view from D/E sites by shore. Gorgeous trees and beach area. Bathrooms in D/E were atrocious! Nasty, needed attention way longer than last scheduled cleaning!

Beautiful spots with trees. I would recommend C section with full hook ups.
