I only had a one night stay at Belle Starr, but it was a good one. First, the park is easy to find and convenient to local restaurants and shopping. Maybe 10 miles at the most. The gatehouse was closed for the season, but I did meet a host that was riding around in her golf cart. Lucky for me because I was having trouble finding my site. The sites are very poorly marked. When she spotted me, she offered to give me a quick ride to the site to check it out. She then offered another site that would be better for me. Which I took her up on.
The park is well maintained and the electric and water hookups worked fine. They do have a dump station on the way out, but I did not use it. I also did not use the restrooms or showers.

This was my first time in this campground and it won’t be my last. I was in site 15 and it was level and had great connectivity. I also had a wonderful view of the lake without being on the lake. This is an older campground, but so charming. I will definitely be back. I can’t attest to the bathhouses because I didn’t use them. The dump station as you come in is buttoned up like Fort Knox and is difficult to use, but the host told me there’s another one that’s much easier to use in another loop.

Nice and quiet, but the grass stickers made our puppy miserable. Otherwise, no complaints.

The campground was well maintained. My site (C30,28)was a level concrete pad with water and 50/30 electric. Verizon cell service was good. Could not get any TV stations. Bathrooms could use some updating. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly

Always enjoy camping at belle star, the sites are great, only wish central loop sites 20-32 would remain open for the winter season

Perfect Location. We had a water view looking out all the windows. Bathrooms were close. Could not ask for weather.

The cooking facilities at my lot weren't functional in the slightest. I had to use the grill at the neighboring lot
