What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning lake views. Many guests appreciated the friendly camp hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation. However, some areas need improvement, particularly regarding restroom cleanliness, grassy site maintenance, and certain site accessibility issues.

Upon arrival to our site we noticed the grass was knee high or taller in the campground. We have three dogs that had a ton of grass burrs in their fur. Further, it seemed our campsite was ok for others to walk right through to get to the lake. I have never seen such rude people at a campground. Our experience was terrible. And I will pass that on to everyone I can.

We reserved a spot on the water. Upon arrival there were dead fish that someone had left after filleting them, on the shore, rotting. The park was filled with trash and debris. We cancelled our reservation and went to Eufaula State Park which was AMAZING!!

Our family camps here every 4th of July. Love the sandy beaches and campsites close to water. Restrooms are kept very clean. East end needs new one built but it’s kept clean for an older facility. We enjoy this camp ground.

We enjoy staying at Belle Star because of the quality of the camp sites, the concrete slabs and pull through drives, and when there was a power outage a while back when we were there we reported it and it was resolved in a couple hours. The sites are well maintained. We also like the fact that it is close to the town of Eufaula.
