Very nice sites and clean. Very near water

We only stayed one night. It was easy to find. There was no attendant at the gate. We stayed at sight W5 right on the water. The only downside was the burrs on the ground. They were very painful for my dog.

We were on the west side #9 best sunsets ever the volunteers and hostesses are great very helpful.clean quiet spot

Site was difficult to access due to tree limbs and size of asphalt. Could not pull thru and had to back out because trees were to close together and the turn was impossible to make without going completely of the asphalt Had to share water hydrant and the parking was on a slope. The cooking grill was not usable as the bottom was completely rusted (even if we could have used it due to the
no-burn rule). Would have liked a cover over the table. We were with a group and their site were similar. Map did not indicate a road thru our area so one camper with us was on other side of road. A camper from AZ ended up west of us due to original camp site either was or appeared to be under construction. He was not very pleased at all. Also observed campfires burning on two days.

But the scenery was very nice and we had a great view when out side of our camper. Only had a 30 amp hook-up due to availability and size of our group. Area was quiet most of time. The area needs some serious maintenance in the near future!

It was difficult to find the campground from directions given in the confirmation email.
The door of the closest women's bathroom was really difficult to open. The faucets were really hard to use. I walked much farther to use a newer bathroom.

Site 41: Walnut trees to close to parking area For Trailer, Walnuts landed on roof of trailer.
Men's rest room total disgrace. No sinks in operation ( no faucets, all covered in black plastic) no seating available in main area and no seating at shower area. No place to place clothing while showering.
This particular rest room facility for men and women needs to be torn down, and new one built.

Campsites are great in C loop. Bathrooms need updating.

Great park and clean facilities. Very little park host interactions leaves you feeling private and not so watched over.. however they were very friendly and helpful when needed. Downers was ,TOO MANY SAND BURRS/ STICKERS.. Not suitable to walk your dogs on grassy areas as well as tracking into rv. CAUTION!! DO NOT GO BAREFOOT!!! IMO. experience, close the park when out of peak season and have a control burn, then stay ahead of the grass not allowing it to seed. Problem solved..

We choose these campgrounds because they have a good reputation. This campground is the exception that proves the rule. The bathrooms were dirty and spider infested. It's more than a little uncomfortable when you're trying to handle your business after using the restroom and discovering a spider trying to attack you in a vulnerable position. I wouldn't have minded it except the entire bathroom was dirty already and the spiders were everywhere. Also, there was no mention at all of the fact that there was a burn ban in place. It would have at least been nice to have had a "heads up" on that prior to our arrival. I was extremely disappointed in this campground to say the least.

Site was nice! In front of the water, near the main ramp, and near public restrooms. Ramp area is spacious as well as ample parking lot. The only thing about site C11 is that it's extremely close to C10, they have a weird cross layout (for my trip that was not to much of a deal because my neighbor at C10 was my friend and we were traveling together) but if you are traveling alone, having such a close neighbor could be little uncomfortable.
