Excellent campground. Camp spot C13 has NO sign of any kind labeling the spot. It is between C17 and C12.

Campsites were full of branches and sticks, we needed to bring a rake if we were gonna put out tents somewhere comfortably. The area was tick infested my children and I found 7 climbing on us or our stuff within an hour of getting to the site. Was very disappointed that the site did not live up to the expectations the pictures presented. Belle Starr definitely was not worth what we had to pay. The site was bad enough we couldn’t comfortably stay for the weekend liked we planned. As a matter of fact we left after only 3 hours as the ticks were so overwhelming and the site was so messy. We don’t plan on ever going back.

Lots of sites with good shade. Some infrastructure needs a refresh as of Jul 2023. Sites are well spaced such that even when all sites were full it didn’t seem cramped.

Great place to camp, clean and quiet

We were in C46. It was sloping and curved so we had to use blocks to get level. But the site was clean and we had a pretty good view of the lake. The 30 amp electric box needs a new breaker…it kept tripping. We had a 30 amp trailer. The camp was nice. It was really too hot in Oklahoma to camp in July. We will not do that again. It was a nice group of campers…all polite and quiet.

Very nice campground, clean restrooms, hot showers, beautiful surroundings. Quiet neighborhood and fellow campers were all quiet and respectful.

From Eufaula, Oklahoma, take Highway 69N to the OK-150 exit toward Texanna Road/State Park/Lake Eufaula.Turn right onto E1140 Rd/Texanna Rd. Travel east for 2 miles, turn right onto Belle Starr Rd/Northsouth 420, travel south for 2 miles and you will arrive at Belle Starr Campground.
The campground is accessible via US Highway 69, which is approximately 10 miles to the west.

General
- October-March there are no gate attendants on duty, a volunteer will make rounds and check in/out campers. If you need assistance please call the Eufaula Project Office 918-799-5843
- Gates open at 6AM and close at 10PM. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only. Each campsite is limited to 1 wheeled camping unit with up to 3 tents. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 30 day period. Campers must occupy the campsite at least once during each 24 hour period. Each campsite may not have its own water spigot, some share with adjacent sites consequently you may need extra hose to reach, we apologize for the inconvenience. Campers shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure. Fires must be contained within the fire ring or grill provided. These are NOT trash receptacles, please leave them free of food and litter upon departure. Bathrooms are closed and winterized from November 1st - March 31st.
