We stayed in C59, the best view in the park. It's winter to just some sites are open but water is available. The friendly camphost came by to welcome us. There's a Walmart close by in Checotah and a cheap gas station on Business 69 going toward Checotah.

Absolutely beautiful place! We will definitely be back! The sites are clean and well kept. Sites are not close to each other. My only complaint is there are tons of briar weeds and my dog kept stepping on them. Other than that we love it. You must go to the marina. There are several places to fish.

The campground is quiet, clean, and the large pull-thru sites are big and we easily fit into them with our 40 foot motorhome. The staff is friendly and the sunsets on the water are wonderful.

Camp site was a very nice pull through with a great view. I tried calling and making contact at the gate the last two days but could not make contact with anyone.

From Eufaula, Oklahoma, take Highway 69N to the OK-150 exit toward Texanna Road/State Park/Lake Eufaula.Turn right onto E1140 Rd/Texanna Rd. Travel east for 2 miles, turn right onto Belle Starr Rd/Northsouth 420, travel south for 2 miles and you will arrive at Belle Starr Campground.
The campground is accessible via US Highway 69, which is approximately 10 miles to the west.

General
- October-March there are no gate attendants on duty, a volunteer will make rounds and check in/out campers. If you need assistance please call the Eufaula Project Office 918-799-5843
- Gates open at 6AM and close at 10PM. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only. Each campsite is limited to 1 wheeled camping unit with up to 3 tents. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 30 day period. Campers must occupy the campsite at least once during each 24 hour period. Each campsite may not have its own water spigot, some share with adjacent sites consequently you may need extra hose to reach, we apologize for the inconvenience. Campers shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure. Fires must be contained within the fire ring or grill provided. These are NOT trash receptacles, please leave them free of food and litter upon departure. Bathrooms are closed and winterized from November 1st - March 31st.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
