Belle Starr is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning lake views. There was never anyone at the gate ever the entire time we were there. It would have been nice to get a map of the sites when we arrived as that was the first time we had ever been at this campground.
Also, I dislike the gates being locked at 10 pm and the park does not give the guests a combination. We were there visiting old friends and got back after 10. To me this is very inconvenient and not guest friendly...to have a curfew of 10 pm. We are 69 years old and would like to stay out after 10 pm.

Beautifully kept campground! We had a great lake view campsite that was big enough for any rig. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. The only downfall is that you have to pay attention to where you walk your dogs. There are goat heads in the area that got into our dogs feet on walks.

We first reserved spot 56 it was a back in. We were not able to use it due to the water line being so far away. We ended up reserving 65 and it was nice. The only thing I do not like is there is no direct contact with the campsite.

I love the accessibility of Belle Star, easy parking, proximity to the water. My only complaint is the burs so if you have pets, do not let them get into the grassy areas. Learn to potty on the asphalt!

One of my favorite camping sites in Oklahoma - At 1/2 the price of a State Park. Thank you "Big Federal Government!"
