Belle Starr is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning lake views. Many guests appreciated the friendly camp hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation. However, some areas need improvement, particularly regarding restroom cleanliness, grassy site maintenance, and certain site accessibility issues.

Great campground. Good spacing. Shady and sunny locations. Clean. Good restrooms for storms when alerted.

I camped at a great site and had a large area of the campground to myself. The dogs loved the water and it was a peaceful, beautiful place to watch sunset over the lake.
My only complaint is that it was full of ticks, even if you didn’t have trees on your campsite.

Non of the bathrooms or showers were open. Signs up stating they would not open until April 1st. Should have been opened by March 1st. Also most of camp sites were closed until April 1st. The Core should do better than this.
