We love this park and the park host/gate keeper --Henry is the absolute best 👌. Our only complaint is that some of the electric breakers need to be replaced, ours kept tripping on 30 amp camper. Henry is super ,he can give the history of the park and surrounding areas. That's super helpful. He walks the park to make sure everyone is ok.

Family friendly with a great view. Nice place to ride bikes in the evenings and fish and swim in the afternoon.

Nice smaller campground that sits on a lake. Bring your leveling blocks as the sites are pitched significantly.

A well-maintained and wonderful campground. The restrooms are clean, although they do show their age. The campsites seem to be slightly closer together than at some other Corps of Engineers campgrounds, but the nice, wide pads, convenient water and electric hookups, and abundant shade more than make up for the close proximity to your neighbors.
Access to the water is possible the full length of the campground, and the clean, natural shoreline makes getting down to the water simple and enjoyable. We were easily able to launch and land our two-person kayak with no problem.
Most of the site locations are nice, but for the best combination of shade and privacy, I would recommend sites 21, 24, 18, 13 or 11. Overall, this is a great campground, and we definitely recommend it and hope to return!

The workers at the park are wonderful. The guy that does the cleaning is the best ever. The sites are nice but the grass could be cut.

The grass needed to be mowed, had not been mowed probably in a month. We could not use the air conditioner in the RV, and a hairdryer or toaster at the same time, the breaker on the pole would trip. We will not return to this camping area.
