What Guests Are Saying
Flat Rock Creek is a beautiful, well-maintained campground with stunning lake views and friendly hosts, particularly Henry, who is noted for his helpfulness. The sites are clean and spacious, offering convenient water and electric hookups, although some amenities like restrooms could use updates. One of the quietest, nicest places on the lake. It can be full but you won't feel it. Strictly for campers, not that many facilities or any playgrounds. Level spots, great asphalt.

Excellent place to get on the water. Good camp sites(power, water, ease of grilling, picnicking, etc). No soap in bathrooms causes 4 stars, otherwise 5 stars... very fun and well-maintained.

Love the area! Due to all the rain we weren’t able to launch the boat. Too far to go to have to load and unload to the next park. Really wished there were sue hookups. We have been so used to that and now switching to the core parks it’s really an inconvenience. But manageable.

Always love our stay at flat rock creek campground, but this time was a little unpleasant. The grass was very overgrown and had to remove several ticks from myself and my dogs. Fortunately my dogs have been treated for fleas and ticks however I can not. Please bring this campground back to the level of excellence we’ve seen in the past.

We got in VERY late, but before 10. The park ranger still let us in and took us to our site. When she saw the site she asked if we were leaving in the morning. I said yes, she said I have a better sight for you then! Amazing!
Beautiful park, spacious sights, great area for grilling using their equipment or your own.
Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely com here again if along our route!

The park was very clean. It was such a peaceful and relaxing experience this time. We had no problems or confrontations by any staff at the park. We look forward to returning there again in the future.

Smaller park, great lake access, quiet. Not much in the way of hiking or other activities in the park other than swimming, boating, or fishing. We just used it as a stop-over between destinations but it was a very nice park. If you are into fishing or kayaking this is a fantastic park for that.
