THE PEOPLE AT THE GATE WERE GREAT VERY HELPFUL AND SO NICE. WE HAD TO CLEAN UP OUR ON SPOT BECAUSE THE VOLUNTEERS HADNOT DONE IT THEY WERE NEVER THERE WE HAD PEOPLE COMING UP TO US ASKING QUESTONS WE TOLD THEM TO GO TO THE GATE BECAUSE THEY WOULD HELP THEM THE BATHROOMS WERE VERY VERY HOT YOU COULDNT HARDLY BREATH IN THEM BUT WE LOVED SPOT 20 HOPE TO GET IT AGAIN

We camp at Gentry Creek at least 4 times a year. Spot 18 is in desperate need for a new concrete driveway. There are several other spots that need it as well.

The attendant was very nice and accommodating. He helped me get in my site even though I arrived at almost 10 pm. There were some noisy people there but it wasn't very bothersome as I had to run the AC all night.

Small, not much to do. Pictures are a bit deceiving. The lake is but a small inlet to the bigger river.
No water on sites, but there are several spigots where you can fill up. It was ok for a night or two.

Gentry creek is very clean and the bathrooms are very clean also!! We loved our stay and will be back in a few weeks! We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

The new Volunteers were amazing. Saw them numerous times every day cleaning up trash keeping the place looking great

Looks like budget cuts are doing their damage. Trash dumpsters were completely overflowing, bathrooms are not being maintained as normal, grass was way overdue for cutting. 1st time in all the years we've been staying here that our campsite had roaches, mice, and raccoons every night! 😢
