Just want to say that the white lady with dark short hair and glasses at the ticket booth is so unkind, disrespectful and mean. It was our first time going there or trying to, because we just moved to the area. And first, she wasn’t at the booth as she was supposed to, so we just assumed that we could come in, then when we were gonna go ahead, she very unkindly said “what are you doing? You have to pay $10 if you want to go in” and we were so confused, not about the money but about how no nice that woman was, and maybe if she was doing her job in the first place we would have known that we had to pay to get in. Never coming back.

06/02023 Current cost to enter is $10 I was just trying to fish for an hour maybe two so I didn't enter for catch and release not worth it for me. But have been told it's a nice park took one star for cost gave the rest based on what I've been told by friends that go regularly

They have been improving the trails East of the dam. Now if only we could make everything on West side one big loop! 😁
They have added another mile or so. Pretty twisty & turny, so not very fast.

My Scout Troop camped here over the past weekend. I can’t post photos because of privacy protection for the kids, but the campsites are great. We have camped here several times and it’s always good. Bathrooms are clean, running water, clean fire pits… great place!

I’d love to give this park 5 stars. Location and overnight tent camping spots are nice with some along the lake. There’s a playground for kids close by. Facilities are about what you’d expect. The major drawback to this park is there’s always a group of jerks that show up, drinking, cussing, & playing music into all hours of the night. So little sleep and certainly no peacefulness to be had. There’s not supposed to be “day use” yet none of these people have tents. Police will respond and ask people to quiet down but this does little to curb it.
