We went during the weekdays so there were only a few other campers. The showers and restrooms were in good shape. We really enjoyed all of the shade trees and the area was excellent for walking. We are going there again in a few weeks.

The campsite was well equipped. We loved having the fire ring with attached grill AND a separate standing grill. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Only complaint is getting up and down the sand hill at the swimming area. We can't wait to enjoy these grounds again.

Very pretty views. Camp host very very nice and informative. Gates do lock at 10pm. Bring blocks to level camper probably 2 sets because did not see many spots that were level. Ours was not. Several spots require decent to really good backing skills and or a 4 wheel drive vehicle with the inclines or sharp turns. Be sure to verify water spigot location. They are shared, the closest for us was well over 100' away so had to carry water. Over all the views and quietness were great. Boat ramp and parking good. Will be even better now that we have seen the layout in person and not just picks from the website.

We had a wonderful time with our family. The view of the lake was beautiful. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned every morning. So depending on how people cleaned up after themselves throughout the day would determine the cleanliness throughout the day. Water had good pressure and no electrical problems. This site provided a lot of shade during the hottest part of the day which was really nice. I will be back to this park. All in all it was really nice.

Love the lake and the campground!! The only thing is that the extreme tall grass needed to have been cut.

We stayed on the east landing campsite and it overlooks the lake one way and then the highway the other way.
When we arrived there was a man in our spot that we had to ask to leave. The noise from the highway was very loud! The next day we went out to eat breakfast and came back 2 hours later to our campsite trashed out by someone. There was no campfire ring and the bathrooms on the east campsite were disgusting. The main campsite was nicer. Avoid the east landing if you can.

Dumpstation is located at Highway 9 North Campground. South and East campers will need to utilize that campground to empty tanks. |
