Campsite was nice. The view was beautiful! However, the tree above the site needs to be trimmed. A tree limb hung too low and our ac hit the branch as we were pulling out.

There was no water at my site and the closest was far away. My experience was bad due to the weather mostly. Site would have been nice otherwise. Does need water hookups closer!

it was a nice campsite.. it was hard to park our trailer though, it took about 30 minutes to get in site. We had a 32' 5th wheel. the road to get to site was narrow and had a deep ditch. had to do a lot of forward and backing to get in site. i know theses campsites wasn't made for the bigger trailers, but it would be nice if the corp would update some of the campsites to accomadate the bigger trailers. Recommend eating at the Hanging 8 BBQ in Eufaula, great food.

We reserved a site with electricity for 2 nights, arrived in the evening late to find out there was no electricity and the water was off to the whole park, we were in a tent counting on electricity to power the electric heater we use for warmth....it dropped to the low 40's upper 30's and we spent a cold miserable night. We did not even stay the second night of our prepaid reservation when we reported the situation via email we were not even offered a refund for the night we did not stay.

This campground needs some serious repair and upkeep. Many of the sites have broken up asphalt pads, and many of the ones by the water have no electric because erosion has taken out the pedestals, with wiring that was once underground just lying on the surface. A lot of the sites just won't fit modern rigs because they are too small, have overhanging tree limbs, etc.
Not used to this sorry state of affairs in COE campgrounds. This is by far the worst one I've ever seen, and I stay in them A LOT.
The camp hosts were VERY NICE and this is in no way a reflection on them.

The gate was closed before posted times. I was unable to contact anyone even though customer service was available. Customer service had no phone numbers to contact the park host or anyone to let me in. I had no place to stay.

Attentive host and great location. Site was quiet with nice lakeside views and not busy in early October.

Dumpstation is located at Highway 9 North Campground. South and East campers will need to utilize that campground to empty tanks. |
