Campsite was not clean, lots of small plastic waste at and around table and Bbq. Restrooms and showers have not been cleaned properly. Corners and surfaces really really filthy and not cleaned aince a long time. Unbelievable that this still happens after a worldwide pandemic when everyone should have a basic understanding of hygiene.

Someone was in my site when I arrived. Swore it was his. No rangers about. Govt shutdown. Took one of the many open sites. Called reservation desk and had them change me to another site. She told me he was a squatter. First time this happened.

We arrived very late from SW Missouri. The attendant called to confirm our arrival, then asked about our rig and our destination the next day. She changed our campsite so we could leave early the following morning. She also drove us to our campsite because it was so dark.
We woke up early to hit the road, heading to New Mexico, and discovered this beautiful scenery laid out before us. It is just stunning. The grass waving in the wind and the wildflowers. It was a great place to stay on our way to NM and CO. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Great service from maintenance crew, checking to see if everything was OK after I had my water hose break.

This has become one of our favorite spots. We have found now after this last visit that the end of summer is definitely our favorite time to go. Campgrounds are always clean and spots are always plentiful.
