What Guests Are Saying
Cookson Bend offers a generally pleasant camping experience with friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms, and nice lakefront campsites. However, some areas require maintenance, including overgrown sites and trash management. While the campground has potential, improvements in facilities and cleanliness would enhance future visits.

The person that checks you is NOT friendly at all. The spots feel like they are on top of each other

Love the lakefront campsite! However, Camphost should be a little more friendly. Along with maintaining the park. A lil cutting the grass won't hurt. Lake is wonderful! Fyi..No noise curfew in case y'all have lil one's(didn't bother us).Can park your car, boat just about anywhere ya want. Campsite don't pay much attention to that for sure. Lake is pretty clean which, is nice. Definitely would go back.

Camp spot was right on lake that was nice , campground needs some up keeping, and don't like that they close and lock gate at 10pm so if your out and not back by 10 pm your out of luck and can't drive back in.overall nice place to camp

1st time staying here in an RV. Nice place and the bathroom and showers are amazing for a campsite. Bathrooms were very clean and the showers have good hot water. I would highly recommend.

Campground is great. Glad you went back to reservations system. Showers need maintenance and the curfew and noise needs to be addressed. Our friends were in spot 45 and the spot across from them and on the corner had three tents and the people were loud past curfew with talking and music. Lots of foul language. Glad my grands weren’t there. We were there thru the Memorial Day weekend.

Everything was wonderful outside of the showers. They only had one shower with warm water.
