I've always loved staying at strayhorn but this year they had the shower house out of order which made my visit inconvenient, when I arrived the gate man told me they had just got the electric on at my camp spot he said if they hadn't got it fixed they would have canceled my reservation, which I felt was rude since I had booked it months earlier and had paid in advance. Hopefully things will be better by next summer

We had a great time with the several families who camped with us! The bathrooms were nice, and the kids enjoyed the swimming area. The sites seemed close, but we didn’t mind since we knew the people around us. There were also several ants, but they were generally avoidable.

Campground was clean, quiet and very nice to walk around. The managers were on site helpful and very friendly. We plan on coming back to Strayhorn Landing more often.
