What Guests Are Saying
Doris Campground offers a serene environment with beautiful views, well-maintained facilities, and abundant wildlife, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many campers appreciated the clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts, as well as the opportunity for hiking and exploring the nearby Wichita Mountains. However, some guests noted challenges in finding water access and occasional litter left by previous campers, but overall, the positive experiences and natural beauty outweigh the negatives.

The campsite was well-marked and clean. There were functional restrooms nearby and we were given good instructions on how to get there from the gate worker.

Love it here. Great place! Doris is good but needs more restrooms or a reservation system just to take a dump. One restroom has been torn down leaving only two men's stalls for all of Doris. Four shower rooms if all are unlocked. Doris is a busy campground. Best during off-peak times.

We stayed at site 46 ( electric) and it was clean and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The park has so many trails and there are museums in Lawton it’s easy to have enough to do for several days. Excellent stay!
