Great camping spot. I won't give away my secret. Someone left us firewood too. Lots of room between camping spaces. We met the camp host. Bob asked if we needed anything and wanted to know if we were having fun. Super nice man. We've already made reservations for June

Excellent visitors center.
Amazing area. Great wildlife viewing
Fun visiting the near by town of Meer’s for a meal
Nice campground
Bathroom /showers were not big enough for the number of campers, and the only one of the 2 with showers was dirty the entire 4 days we were camping
But, we will still return! And recommend this amazing area to friends with a warning that everything was great but the bathrooms need updated or at least cleaned daily

This signage for finding the sites was poor. We did find the site, but we kept feeling like we were missing something, as there was not a map or forewarning of when site 28 would be found at the beginning.
The toilets were odd, and not safe for single females or children since there is no doors.
Clearer maps or trail signs would be nice too since there is no cell phone service.
Pretty sites, and we felt ours was very private and peaceful

Overall campground is ok. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms haven’t seen a mop in years. Bathrooms seriously need modernization.
