Great tent camping at sites 41 and site 37. Hiking in the area is amazing! Great visitor center! The bathrooms in the campground are functional but dirty! Floors had hair and debris built up in the corners. FYI No cell phone service at the campground.

RV 26 ft, Loop B, March 2023. Hiking is outstanding. Visitors center informative and friendly staff. Campground hosts very friendly and helpful. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would return for the hiking and wildlife viewing. We spotted Bison, Elk, Deer, Belted Kingfisher, Beaver, wren, woodpecker, flicker, geese, ducks, prairie dogs, and more. Loop B is electric only. Water is available and was told the Dump Station water is potable; it is easy to access, but never knew you could use the dump station water spigot for potable water fill up. Dump station was clean and easy to use. The additional potable water station with the easiest access is at the primitive camping entry, just before Loop B; however, when we arrived, there were cars parked in the pullout, blocking the water. Would be nice if they marked that stop for RV water fill up, so you can access it. The other potable water stations are difficult to access without a long water hose (50 ft or so), and also allow car parking which blocks access to water. Good news is, they have water now! RV sites in Loop B are clean, and relatively easy to level, abit narrow and some are short, but nothing new for state park facilities. Trees/shade throughout Loop B was nice. We ran out of water and did have to use the Campground showers near Loop C entry; ug. Better than nothing, but would have preferred a dip in the lake vs their showers. Push button shower, one temperature, lukewarm when it was low 40's outside. Floors are old and in disrepair, bring your flip flops and don't let your clothes touch the ground, floors had dirt/scum mixture that looked unsanitary.

Great campsite in the Wichitas. With easy access to water and trails, it's a phenomenal location. The amenities are what are to be expected at a camp ground, but they are clean and kept up with. Water and Fire Wood available in an honor system at the check-in gate. Patrol trucks were constant which made me feel at ease. Each campsite has it's own piece of brilliance, and I'm excited to get back and experience the next site.

The group campsite was great we had plenty of electric outlets at the pavilion along with 4 large picnic tables. The staff did an excellent job of welcoming us.

Great spot! Near parking lot and bathrooms but still secluded enough with ample of space between neighbors. Everyone respected quiet hours and the stars were incredible. Site was clean and had a nice flat area for our tent.

This campground was great. Clean and quiet. The whole area was a wonderful surprise.
