What Guests Are Saying
Doris Campground offers a serene environment with beautiful views, well-maintained facilities, and abundant wildlife, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many campers appreciated the clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts, as well as the opportunity for hiking and exploring the nearby Wichita Mountains. However, some guests noted challenges in finding water access and occasional litter left by previous campers, but overall, the positive experiences and natural beauty outweigh the negatives.

Love the tent sites here. A bit away from the road but not too far for camping comforts. Was very please with the condition of the restrooms.

We love the Doris Campground. We camp there as often as we can. The camp sites stay booked up and we wish there were more electric sites available. We realize that it’s a balance to preserve the area . It’s such a beautiful area and lots of wildlife

I was very pleased with how well the camp host helped resolve an issue. I had reserved a campsite online at Doris Campground. But when my family and I pulled up to it, there was a tent and camping equipment on it, but no one was there. The camp host checked it out and explained that the individual usually doesn't come back to his site till night, and they can't touch his stuff. But they said they keep an extra campsite available for these kinds of situations if I wanted it. I did. And it was a little closer to the restroom/shower facility and that worked good for me. Later the host came by to check on us to see if everything was okay. I really appreciated that.

Had a good time with all that's available at Campground Doris. Wish the campfire had been permitted.
