Pleased with campsite itself, but restroom and shower accommodations need improvement. I found it desirable to take my own toilet tissue, shower mat, and bug spray with me when using these facilities. Wait time for restroom sometimes prolonged.
No cellular coverage in Doris Campground area. Otherwise, the general campsite location was great! Good variety of hiking trails nearby and had fun kayaking on Quanah Parker Lake. Will probably re-book again at some point.

A beautiful campground with clean baths and showers snugged right into the refuge! Doesn’t get much better than this!

The campground was really nice and the facilities are decent. Not having water at the campsites is a little inconvenient but not horrible. Hiking in the area is amazing. Turkeys and deer pass through camp daily.

I love Camp Doris!! I have been campong here for so many years I have lost count. My only thing that has been a let down is the second set of bathrooms and showers have been torn down. Now they are putting little houses there !! WHY 80 plus camp sites and one set of shoers and potties
The camp host are Amazing and do a great job

Campground was amazing, woke up early and saw tons of wildlife, turkeys, deer, squirrels, birds, rabbits and more. Very serene and calm, also could walk to the water behind and campsite and it was beautiful

I called it a baby big bend. It was beautiful, at times challenging and full of animals. Campground was nice right on a lake.
