Nice and clean showers and restrooms. A very quiet campground and great hiking all around. Sharing the refuge with bison, longhorns, turkey, and elk was awesome.

Great clean lake view site. Well kept bath rooms. As a bicyclist it was great to start right from my campsite and tour the refuge. Abundance of wildlife was fantastic. Plenty of good hikes too.

We loved camping here. We spent most of our time hiking the trails, especially the ones right in the campgrounds. Little Baldy was a perfect way to start and finish our day. We were here during the full moon and it really lit everything up beautifully, it was so nice to turn our lights off and just be. We loved how easy it was to get around the campground and how close the bathrooms, showers, and water were. I do recommend some kind of shower caddy because we noticed people would forget their stuff. The shower head was also very wide and kind of aggressive (so put your stuff behind the concrete wall) but it did the job. We brought an expanding cart that had no problems on the gravel path either, it's a must if you're in any of the walk up spots. When booking it didn't say if the walk up spots had a table but they do, a concrete one with a charcoal grill next to it. There was even a log to sit on by the fire ring (with no grill). The wildlife was amazing and by far our favorite part, you have to go to the visitor center to get all the good info (they have paper lists of all the critters!). And lastly we'd definitely recommend going into Lawton to go to the Great Plains Museum, it was so fun! It's very kid oriented, with lots of activities and life size recreations of a general store you can actually shop in, a tent with clothes to try on, a tornado simulator(you're in the storm shelter), and so much more. We don't have kids and it was so cool!

Great location to explore the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and Fort Sill. Sites are paved and fairly level, but narrow. Sites are really spread out nicely. Electric at some sites; most sites are non-electric, so watch your choice. Fresh water at spigots were located near the pit toilets or group campgrounds. Potable water spigot at the dump station was locked. Showers and bathrooms were great although there is only one bath house for the entire campground and got a little busy at peak times. Lots of hiking choices in the refuge. Visit nearby Meers for a huge burger and Medicine Park for a variety of shops and restaurants.
