What Guests Are Saying
Doris Campground offers a serene environment with beautiful views, well-maintained facilities, and abundant wildlife, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many campers appreciated the clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts, as well as the opportunity for hiking and exploring the nearby Wichita Mountains. However, some guests noted challenges in finding water access and occasional litter left by previous campers, but overall, the positive experiences and natural beauty outweigh the negatives.

It’s a shame the bath house is a total wreck now, and don’t be expecting a warm shower. Otherwise the sites were great.

Very nice campsites. They were large enough you had space for kids to play without being in your neighbor’s camp. The quiet hours were generally well observed. Picnic tables were concrete so no worry about splinters. Having flushing toilets and showers in March was nice.

Overall campground is ok. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms haven’t seen a mop in years. Bathrooms seriously need modernization.
