The Camp Ground was very pretty with an abundent amout of wild life. Only flaw I experience is the potable and nonpotabal water hyrants at the dump station did not work.

The campground is great and the hiking in the area is awesome! The only negative is the new bathhouse. The bathrooms are in one side and the showers on the other so you have to go out and around after your shower to try and finish up as there is no mirror or sink in the shower, but there is no counter space in the bathroom side. The showers are horrible! The water sprays everywhere in there and you can’t keep any of your stuff dry. Whoever designed them did a terrible job.

A great campsite. Quiet, full of wildlife, and plenty of space between campsites. We will put Doris on our visit list at least once per year.

We were unable to stay the last night of our trip due to the wildfire smoke. We loved the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and would like to go there again someday.
