The campsites are nice and large with plenty of room for tents. They need to add a couple more bathrooms because there are only 3 for the entire campground. 2 of which are single hole male/ female. We had to walk 2 blocks to the nearest one.

Our time at Doris campground was a very good experience for everyone. The visitor center was very nice and had great information and facilities were nice and clean. We visited the Wichita Mountains for hiking and toured nearby town of Medicine Park. We tent camped for just one night but are already planning to return for multiple night camping .

Need more bathrooms. 3 tents per camping spot is not enough. Used to be 4. Hosts were very nice.

I love the location and the size of the campsites and the space between neighbors. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful and kept the bathrooms and showers exceptionally clean. I'm already looking foreword to another visit.

From I-44 take Highway 49 (exit 45). Go west 7 miles to the Refuge gate or 14 miles to the Visitor Center. If coming from Highway 62, take Highway 115 (Cache exit) north to the Refuge Gate.
Doris Campground is accessible via I-44 and Highway 49, with Highway 49 leading west for 7 miles to the Refuge gate. Additionally, Highway 62 is nearby, with Highway 115 providing access to the Refuge gate.
