What Guests Are Saying
Buncombe Creek is praised for its clean facilities, easy reservation process, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family gatherings and relaxation. The location near the water is ideal for fishing and swimming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, some sites have issues with uneven terrain, mosquito presence, and maintenance needs, particularly regarding electricity and cleanliness of the grounds.

The terrain at this campsite was very uneven. There was nowhere to sit outside of the camper because there were steep drop offs around where we parked the camper. The electric breaker was bad on the box outside and kept blowing.

It was quiet, hardly anyone there. The park and sites were very well maintained.
We enjoyed the beauty and solitude

Campsites are close together but some have nice views of the lake. Ours was right next to the water and open. Bathrooms were clean, one stall with a shower. We will be back!

Only a few complaints. Camp space we not level at all. Half of it was so steep that theres no way you could have put a camper on it. Second complaint is there was absolutely NO SHADE at all. This needs to be advertised better. Left after 1 day because it was just simply to hot.

Water connections were far from the rv sites in some cases. It was fortunate that we had extensions so we could reach about 75 feet. Other than that the visit was great. Bathrooms were clean and park C was quiet. Golf was close by and also a decent course for the money.
