What Guests Are Saying
Buncombe Creek is praised for its clean facilities, easy reservation process, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family gatherings and relaxation. The location near the water is ideal for fishing and swimming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, some sites have issues with uneven terrain, mosquito presence, and maintenance needs, particularly regarding electricity and cleanliness of the grounds.

We stayed the last weekend the campsite was open so it was nice and quiet. Water views and access to water were perfect for the kids. We loved our stay here and wish it wasn't closed over the fall! We will be back.

We camped over Easter weekend and it wasn’t too crowded. The park was clean, quiet and very enjoyable. Another great weekend at Buncombe Creek!

Was very quite for most of our stay (we pretty much had the park to ourselves). Area was clean and facilities worked well

We enjoyed the campsite and the guided fishing trip. We went with friends and made memories. Hope to take the grandkids some day.

The park was well maintained and recently mowed. Campsites were clean and well maintained. Peaceful and serene. No loud music, very little traffic. Restful and enjoyable.

Grounds were not well kept and weeds were very overgrown. My husband had to go home to get our weedeater to clean up around our site before we could set up. Other Corps property that we have stayed at seem to be more well maintained.
