What Guests Are Saying
Buncombe Creek is praised for its clean facilities, easy reservation process, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family gatherings and relaxation. The location near the water is ideal for fishing and swimming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, some sites have issues with uneven terrain, mosquito presence, and maintenance needs, particularly regarding electricity and cleanliness of the grounds.

We camped in B06 site. It is level, has electric and water. Most of the sites in B section looks level. If you want shower facility, that is in C section. A nice, peaceful campground. We visited the casino which is basically just down the road.

The campground was clean and nice. It looks like the restrooms were recently renovated and painted. Very clean with plenty of hot water. Our campsite was level (< 1”). The road into the campground was recently resurfaced and the roads in the campground were pretty good.

Making reservations was super easy. The location of the site in reference to the water was good. The actual campsite though was so unlevel, broken concrete and a couple of pieces of 5-6" rebar sticking up made it less than safe if you aren't being careful navigating the thoroughly sloped area.
