We have stayed at several Texoma sites this summer and Lakeside is our favorite. The sites are well maintained, perfectly spaced and easy to navigate. The bathrooms were great. The Lakeside experience was overall wonderful. Will be returning!

My husband and I had spot 14 reserved for our 50 amp camper on August 20th-23rd. Upon arrival and setting up camp, we noticed the electrical box was not working properly and was only putting off enough power to operate one of our A/C units. It was over 100 degrees outside. The camp host was not at her station at this time. We called all the numbers listed to report the non-working electrical box, and left voicemails. We had no other choice to reserve an additional RV spot, #15. I submitted a refund request for the spot 14 and have not received a phone call back or any additional information if we will get our money back or not. Just a heads up if you are taking a 50 amp camper there in the heat of the summer, the 50 amps listed for each site may or may not be 50.

We camped in the B-section. Grass was cut short and lake access was great. As I have said before, some of the campsites should have sewer hook-ups. I know it takes alot of plumbing and electrical infrastructure work but it would make the camping experience for those sites much more relaxing and comfortable. All in all, we will return many more times.

The only thing that would make it better would be to have some full hookups!!

The improvements to the campsites are amazing! Pull through made it really easy to manuver a 43' motorhome in and out. Thank you!

Traffic around the D section is pretty rough. Autos are not slowing down around corners. If you have kids on bicycles camp in A or B sections.

Overall a nice spot, everything works well, great access to the water. No evening shade, fire ants and stick-tights in this area. Be mindful if you have pets or plan on doing any activities in the lawn area of the spot.

Nice clean and spacious site. Gates lock with tire spikes on the exit side around 11. Which is nice unless you’re coming back from a late movie in Durant…
