What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside campground offers a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and good fishing opportunities, making it a favorite for many campers. While the updated camping loops D through F have received positive feedback, some campers noted issues with bathroom access, cleanliness, and the need for better maintenance in certain areas. Overall, visitors appreciate the scenic views and peaceful atmosphere, though some improvements are still desired, particularly regarding facilities and site conditions.

We stayed in the B area and it was nice. They have 50 and 30 Amp service. Level paved camper sites. Nice fire pits and tables at every site. Many sites have covered overhangs. The striped bass fishing was out of this world. Stayed a week and left with 25 lbs. Only complaint is the showers were not very warm. Used the facilities in the camp because I did not have a sewer wagon and tried to limit dumps. It was a quiet area and other guests were very friendly and courteous. We will probably camp here again.

Nice campsites. Restrooms are well-kept. Easy access to City of Durant for shopping, Fort Washita historic site. Don't miss Denison Dam, accessible by water and by car.

Need to upgrade to 50 amp …. Constantly have to flip the breaker. Can’t use the air conditioner and microwave at the same time!

The toilets and bathhouses were only cleaned every few days, but the campgrounds were mowed and seemed to be kept up very good

Just hated the fact we pulled out 3 days early and only was refunded for one day and that took almost a month
