Close to the ramp. Always the best people in the park that are camping. The Park Lady will unlock the bathrooms for people she knows. That’s if the bathrooms are closed for the season. Off the point it gets windy but for a Corps park I give it a 7. The showers are messed up.

We love the new camp sites on D & E. We love the new reservation system. We love the new check in/out time! The automated system is convenient. We just hope you create more camp sites like these! Great vacation at LAKE TEXOMA.

As the A loop had only recently re-opened, there were few reservations for the period I was there. I had the entire loop to myself for most of a two week stay. Quiet, shore birds, gorgeous weather. Site 7 has immediate access to the shore and is ideal for kayaking. There was notable damage from the spring flood, especially to trees. Lakeside is a well-run park and always a great camping choice.

  • During winter months, one frost-free hydrant is available within the campground to fill water tanks; individual water hookups are shut off annually after the end of November.
  • For more information on Lake Texoma, click here
  • Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
  • Some sites in Lakeside will be closed during the off season, for boat launch pay at fee vault at the ramp. Park will be fully open starting April 1st.
